Caroline Wozniacki takes home the year-end No. 1 position of the WTA rankings for the second time in a sequence. The 21 year old Danish player, started playing tennis even before she is nine years old, won the singles title of Osaka Mayor’s cup of Japan when she was just fourteen, and hence the winning spell continues till date. Being the first Scandinavian woman to hold the top ranking position and the 20th overall, she says that no one can take off the No. 1 position from her for now.

Getting to the top position is never easy and staying there for two consecutive years really proves her exceptional talent, willpower, dedication and confidence. Hats off to the young player and News Chips wishes her the very best for the years following.
