Millions of hearts beats for Sachin

The heart beat riser Sachin Tendulkar is the main talk of the town today. Usually each and every heart beats when he is in field with a score of 99, waiting for his century. And now, he is in field keeping 99 international centuries in hand. The heart beats are now turning wilder waiting for his century of centuries!

Come on, Sachin! We long for biggest ever of your records!

The record breaker Sachin is still thirstier in field even after breaking more records. Any other new comer has to work a lifetime to overcome his records. There is a doubt too.. Can a lifetime effort break all his records?

He is the highest run scorer in both Test and ODI matches. He has won most number of Man of the Series and Man of the match awards, with the World’s highest number of Man of the Matches against Australia. He was one among the five cricketers to win the Wisden Cricketer of the year in 1997, was rated as the second greatest Test batsman after Sir Donald Bradman by Wisden in 2002, was rated as No.1 all time Greatest ODI player by Wisden in 2003 followed by Vivin Richards at No.2 and was the one to win Wisden Cricketer of the year in 2010. The Time Magazine described him as one of the Asian heroes, Times of India nominated him as The Face of new India, he was voted as the Greatest Sportsman of the country in the Best Of India poll conducted by Zee News, he was declared as the Sports Icon of the year for 21 years by NDTV and he was also named as the Sports person of the year 2006. He record list continues…

Most of the cricket lovers are lovers of Sachin too. Talking to them, more and more fantastic information about him can be revealed. He holds such an interesting list of records. He is the role model of many young flourishing players round the World. Though thousands of hearts beats loud for him, he stays calm in the field just loving his cricket. His love for cricket never ends. Cheers to the Master Blaster for more records and more centuries to come.

Indian super celebrities jump into the Racing tracks

Indian super celebrities jump into the Racing tracks

The IPL fire spreads to the racing tracks of India. The magnificent success of the Airtel Formula One Grand Prix and the enormous response for the Indian Premier League in India over the past few years has lead to the emergence of the new racing championship in India – the i1 Super Series.

The eight-team super series (Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Hyderabad and Pune) is mainly promoted by the Machdar Motor sports Company and reports say that the star cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has bought 26% percent stake of the series. Popular celebrities of India have now turned their attention to this highly lucrative Indian Racing League. Some of the hot stars and business people investing in this series prominently include Shah Rukh Khan, Juhi Chawla and Jai Mehta (for the team Mumbai), Telugu superstar Nagarjuna and N Prasad (for the Hyderabad team), Mohit Burman from the Dabur family (for the Delhi team), SG Srinivas (for the team Chennai), Yuvraj Singh (for the Chandigarh team) and Sourav Ganguly (for the Kolkata team). The series with 14 races on the whole will run from January 8, 2012 to February 12, 2012.

Cricket is a well known game and has attracted most people in India of almost all age groups either poor or rich, in both urban and rural areas. People play hours of cricket with a single bat and ball. Hence success of cricket and IPL in India has faced no problems. On the other hand, racing has not been much popular and also playing it is considered to be most expensive. Car racing and Formula One games are reached by people of rich communities.

So, there are some great questions lying in front –

Will the i1 super series gain popularity in India?
Will the investors gain from the Racing League?
Will the surplus amount of money invested help increase Indian revenue?

News Chips is also eager to know the answers of these questions.

India craves for Sachin’s hundredth century

India craves for Sachin’s hundredth century

The master blaster Sachin Tendulkar is just one century ahead of his hundredth international hundreds. Millions and millions of his fans are longing for a better show from Sachin. He hit his first international hundred in the second innings of the second test of the 1990 series against England at Old Trafford when he was just 17 years and 122 days old. He is 38 now and has come a long way in the world of cricket. He has made tons of achievements in his career. He has made highest number of centuries in ODI and in the test cricket, has scored highest number of half-centuries in ODI, was the first one to cross 10,000 runs in ODI, was in the top 10 rankings of ICC for consecutive 10 years and many more.

He has been a terror to all bowlers. Getting him out was considered to be the greatest achievement for almost all International bowlers. He is considered to be the God of Cricket and has gained largest number of fans in his fan club. They are all still lurking with great hope to witness the greatest 100th century by the little master. Hope the moment arrive at the earliest.

While the world is waiting for the auspicious moment, much cricket gambling is taking place on the darker side. It is estimated that about 2 billion rupees is been betted on the master blaster on his 100th century.

Hope the most expected day happen at the earliest. Advance cheers from News Chips to our cricket God Sachin Tendulkar for his great day.
