The leading film actor, screenwriter cum director Kamal Hassan is turning 57 today. This is the great celebration for his fans all around the world. Since the actor has converted all his fan clubs to welfare associations, his fans are conducting many social welfare activities today (November 7, 2011) such as blood donation camps, providing medicines and clothing to the old people of Kaakum Karangal Home, serving food to the HIV affected children, donating organs at the Udhavum Kaigal etc., through this ALL INDIA KAMAL HASSAN WELFARE MOVEMENT.
 
Starting the career at “Kalathoor Kannamma” at the age of 5, the innovative actor has excelled in many of his films, has grown up immensely in all his associated fields as the name means - “Vishwaroopam”, which is the name of his current film under production. Though the legend is 57 today, his physical appearance is too young even in his latest film “Manmadan Ambu”.
 
The complete hero, Kamal Hassan has bagged numerous awards including National Awards, Filmfare Awards and Indian Film Awards.
